  • A large part of the event's success is due to the participation of community volunteers.

  • Some intern credit may apply for hospitality and catering students.

  • guiding visitors
  • security support
  • post-event cleanup

    Volunteer Guidelines

    We are expecting nearly 3,000 guests through the duration of the festival, so volunteers  should enjoy working in a fast-paced
    environment, be ready to pitch in with any area as needed, and be able to lift up to 10 kilos.

    Duties may include, but aren’t limited to:

    Set up prior to event: Setting up and stocking vendor booths, checking-in exhibitors, coordinating ice supplies etc.

    Event operations: Managing reception desk, guest registration, security, managing sampling stalls, pouring/serving, helping with
    arrangements for shows, beer talks, directing guests, emceeing, etc.

    Event breakdown: Clearing the event of attendees, exhibitor staff, clearing beer cans/bottles off the tables, taking down stall signs
    and general clean up, etc.

    Additional information

    Each volunteer will receive 1 complimentary kit. This is a thank you for your time and is nontransferable to another person. We will
    buy you lunch and dinner too!

    Dress Guidelines and other information
    Volunteers should wear comfortable shoes.
    Lots of standing and walking during event.
    Volunteer Training on December 23 at 11 am at venue.
